Hey Scot, great info. As you may imagine a lot of the folks who will visit this blog are already using the content authority for content. This may be a little off topic but now that it is the dreaded tax season, do you have any advice for us work at home internet marketers scratching our heads trying to find the best way to write off outsourced content as a business expense?

Thanks Chip. I will talk with Shawn and see if we can put together an article this week on that subject.

Although we are not tax professionals, I agree that outsourced content should be written off as a business expense – much like the computer and software you work with daily can be written off as a one time expense.

For freelance writers even the magazines, newspapers and books that we buy for research purposes can be written off as an expense.
