Client FAQ

What Payment Options do you offer?

Currently PayPal is the best way to pay for orders. You can use many major credit cards through PayPal. We also accept checks and money orders. Please email for the address if you wish to send a personal or business check or money order.

How do I place an order?

Please see our guide, How To Place an Order at TCA for step-by-step instructions for placing orders.

How long do I have to approve an article or request a revision?

All orders must be approved (or have revision requests) within 72
hours of the article being returned to you. If you take no action, the automated system will automatically approve the order, after which revision requests cannot be made.

What constitutes an article revision?

Article revisions must be requested within 72 hours of receiving a new
article. Revisions can be requested for two different reasons:

1. The article has problems with flow, organization, spelling, or grammar.

2. The article does not follow the specific instructions provided by you.

The writer of the article will complete all revisions and the system administrator will be notified if a request is placed. The Content Authority reserves the right to decline any revision request, for any reason, at any time. Should a revision request fail to yield a suitable article, please email support@thecontentauthority.com and include the Order ID so that staff can review the issue and reassign the order if needed.

What part of the order does the writer see?

The writer will see the word count, the quality level, the keywords and your instructions. They will not be able to see the label, which is only for your management purposes. All information that you wish the writer to see should go into the “instruction” field.

What kind of instructions should I include with orders?

Please provide instructions that are clear and concise and include any information you feel will help the writer to craft the style, tone, and “voice” you seek for that order. Instructions may include a preferred title, a URL of a site where you want the writer to do research, whether you want brand names included or not, the purpose of the article, if you prefer a casual style, or any other information that you feel will be helpful to the writer that picks up the order. While it is important to be clear, it is also important to be concise as well. Please see the Content Guidelines to know what is reasonable to place in instructions for a particular quality level.

How long will it take to get an order back?

The time frame for orders to be completed will vary based on the quality level of the article as well as the current workload. If they reach 72 hours of not being completed, orders are placed at priority status, which means the first available writer with the appropriate quality level will complete the order. The chart below shows an average time frame, but we strive to exceed these approximate times.

Quality Timeframe*
Basic 4-6 days
Great 3-5 days
Excellent 2-4 days
Expert Author 1-3 days

Will articles be written exclusively for me and can I change or add to
their content?

All articles are produced exclusively for the individual customer ordering it. We do not share or reuse any of our content. Furthermore, you retain all rights to the article once you purchase and approve it and you may sell, distribute, modify, and/or claim yourself as the author of the work.

Content that is not approved by a client and is not paid for by the client is owned by TCA if the writer was paid for the content, and is owned by the writer if the writer was not paid for that content by TCA. TCA, or that writer, has the right to use that content elsewhere.

Do you use plagiarism detection software?

Yes, TCA checks all orders with its own duplication checking software.

Does TCA provide UAW article services?

UAW packs can be created easily within the TCA system by placing an order for an original and two rewrites of it. It is recommended that the original article be ordered at the “great” or “excellent” quality level.

What Posting options are available?

TCA provides a means for articles to be uploaded easily to a number of top article directory services. To see which directories are available, please visit our poster area as the posting options may vary.

Who do I contact if  I need help?

If you need assistance, please send an email to support@thecontentauthority.com or use the help desk icon to chat with the first available client services representative.

Content Ordering Disclaimer

The Content Authority reserves the right to reject any order that staff feels is inappropriate. Some reasons orders may be rejected are that they contain language in keywords or instructions asking for information of a nature that may be illegal, illicit, immoral, racist, designed to incite violence, or otherwise distasteful.

If you have a question about whether your order will be acceptable, please email support@thecontentauthority.com. Thank you.
