TCA Launches a Premium Press Release Package

In an effort to bring our clients a robust product and service offering, we have partnered with PRWeb to create a press release package that is both feature-rich and cost-effective. The package, which includes high quality content and extensive distribution to prominent media outlets, aims to provide business-enhancing benefits while remaining well within the marketing budgets of TCA’s clients. In addition, we have condensed a seven step ordering process into one simple step. This move allows clients to implement a powerful publicity strategy while benefiting from convenience. Previously, users have struggled to find providers that offer both the press release content and submission service in a single location. Companies offering both services often charge prohibitive prices, forcing businesses to abandon press releases as a promotional option. Our collaboration with PRWeb ensures TCA clients are able to amplify their marketing efforts while minimizing the impact on their budget. However, clients can derive so much more than cost savings from this unbeatable deal. Besides permanent hosting on PRWeb, our expert writers and submission team will optimize the press release for improved search engine results. In addition, clients will receive customized URLs within the release, as well as a personalized RSS feed. Access to the “ShareThis” application allows readers to share the news, which contributes to greater exposure for the business. This means our clients will benefit from long-term results as the content continues to provide high quality link juice and drive web traffic well into the future. With each press release package, clients can choose to embed search engine optimized images into the content, as well as add file attachments that make for dynamic storytelling. Whether the purpose of the press release is to announce a product or service launch, offer a discount, or promote an event, it is the perfect solution for clients who want to generate interest in their business. Changes for TCA Writers

When Shawn Manaher, CEO and founder of The Content Authority, was making plans for his new company, two things were of utmost importance to him. He wanted to provide good quality articles for clients to make and keep them happy. Second, he wanted a company that could attract excellent writers and keep them happy. Manaher had these two goals in mind when he recently guided redesign of The Content Authority’s site. According to Faith A. Kaltenbach, Client Services Manager, the site has updated features beneficial to clients and writers especially in Direct Orders. “The direct order area has been improved with features like client specific rates that will allow for more stability of writer rates for clients, and for writers to accept direct orders at different quality levels. Managing orders will be faster and easier than ever with enhanced features there.” Writer specific enhancements include:
  • An expanded account history area so writers can easily track orders they have completed. Writers can also filter for paid or unpaid invoices.
  • A keyword density tool permits writers to see how many times to use keywords to meet the client’s requirement.
  • There is an expanded help section.
  • The new Writer Marketplace gives writers the ability to create specialized pricing for clients, based on the type of content they are writing. For instance, a writer may like to charge .01 per word for general SEO content, but if they are writing an eBook with sales copy, they might want to charge .03 per word.
  • Writers can share some of their own online work with clients that may lead to opportunities for writers.
  • Writer ratings, a combination of reviews done by the quality control teams and clients, will allow writers to know how others are rating them.
All of the features of TCA’s new site are directed toward the company’s original goals and maintaining an efficient site that is easy for both clients and writers to use.

What is New for TCA Clients?

The Content Authority is less than two years old, and the site’s CEO and founder Shawn Manaher is determined to keep the company vigorous and responsive to the needs of both clients and writers. Manaher’s concern is epitomized by TCA’s completely redesigned site that will be launched on September 11, 2011. When asked if a redesign is necessary after such a short time of being in business, Manaher replied, “We wanted to redesign the entire site so that it would be easier to navigate, and clarify where information can be found. We wanted to create an experience for all users so they would walk away say, Wow! This is a great place to order content, submit content, and manage my content!” Among innovative features offered for clients are A streamlined interface makes it easier for clients to place orders.
  • Standard, Rewrite and Direct Orders are under one area allowing clients to order content quickly and easily.
  • A “Keyword Check” is run on all articles. This automatic checker means the client need not worry about keywords being missing from their articles.
  • Significant adjustments to the Direct Orders area mean that clients can “pool” together their favorite group of writers. This means a group of writers can work as a team to write the content the client wants. A minimum rate of .015 per word applies.
Among the features designed to simplify the use of TCA’s site is a footer on the main page. The footer contains information that writers, clients, and others want to see.  Added to the innovations is a simplification of the sign up procedure, and updated terms and conditions so users know exactly what an agreement with TCA entails. Clearly, the goals for TCA remain simplicity and clarity. With the launch of their new site, they have accomplished that goal.

New Features for Direct Orders

Creating direct orders has never been easier than they will be within the new website. Direct Orders lets a client work with a specific writer(s) at a pre-negotiated price. This allows another means of acquiring consistent quality content at reasonable prices. The Content Authority has streamlined the process of client’s selecting writers. Previously, one needed to contact The Content Authority to arrange for writer selection on a specific topic. The new site allows the client to choose the writer(s) who have proven themselves through their quality, consistency and knowledge of their areas of interest.  Clients can still access this area through the Direct Order and Manage Order Tabs. The Content Authority is excited about all of the changes with the newly designed website. Each area has been designed with the clients and writers in mind. TCA believes these changes will positively affect the ordering process and the continued submission of quality written content. With these changes to the Direct Order area for both writers and clients, it becomes an excellent option for matching clients with writers. New Writer Features Each writer will be able to create a ruleset of information for clients who select them as a favorite writer. This will allow the writer to establish a positive relationship with a client. Writers can establish several rulesets. For example, one can be set up for basic level orders, expert level or a ruleset for one particular client for which the writer can do specialized writing in the niche they target. That will enable writers to leave the rate and volume the same for a client and not have to change it when another client asks for something different from them. This will also allow writers to set a rewrite rate so clients can send articles to a favorite writer for high quality rewrites. Ruleset information to be set up includes description, pricing, minimum and maximum word counts, publisher visibility and tags. Tags allow the writer to list areas of interest or expertise. Publisher Visibility area will let you decide which publishers can view that ruleset. New Client Features Clients will now be able to search for writers using tags, which will allow for quicker and better writer/client matches. Now you will see your favorite writers with a ruleset created just for your needs eliminating the lag time while a writer adjusts their Direct Order information and the frustration of going back for more content from a favorite writer to find the writer has adjusted rates for another client and is now outside of your budget. The new site offers the same management features of orders but with a sleek look and easy to use buttons. Clients will be able to manage articles based on labels, monitor orders from writers, and will be able to order rewrites from favorite writers by pasting existing material into the instruction box. Direct Orders were created to enable clients to mark writers as their favorites, based on quality and knowledge of the topic. With the recent changes, this becomes a much easier process. For writers, Direct Order assignments are a great way to build a successful relationship with a client, or several clients.  With the launch of the new website, TCA is building a simple and friendly writer interface and to providing the best customer service for our clients with an improved and enhanced Direct Order area.

Its appearance reflects an organizational culture that appeals to professionals from all walks of life. Clearly, The Content Authority is committed to building trust with new patrons and strengthening relationships with existing clients and writers. Writers, clients, and our staff have an equal share in making sure this company is a success. This focus makes us incredibly different from many other content providers.” When asked about his plans for the company’s future, Manaher is happy to share. “The Content Authority will continue to see significant growth in content creation over the next 24 months as we expand our services into video creation. Beating Unemployment Odds in the Blind Community: A Tenacious Writer’s TCA Tale

Reina is a twenty-six year old blind woman who has managed to overcome staggering odds. While the blind community in the United States faces an astounding seventy-five percent unemployment rate, Reina was determined not to be in those statistics. The Content Authority played an integral part in allowing Reina to enjoy financial success. The blind community contends with a rate of unemployment worse than any other group in the United States. Most blind people find that a large number of employers are not willing to look past blindness and see them for what they are and the skills that they possess. They find suitable excuses to not hire them. While the situation seems hopeless to many blind people, there are countless blind individuals who still manage to beat the odds and enjoy financial success. Among the vast numbers of writers that work with The Content Authority are blind individuals. TCA is one hundred percent accessible for screen readers, and the staff at The Content Authority is receptive to the blind. Rather than just look at their blindness, the staff is willing to look at the abilities of blind writers and treat them as equals. “The staff at The Content Authority really treats me with respect,” says Reina. “Whenever I have a concern, the staff works with me to get it addressed swiftly. If any issues come up in relation to my blindness, the staff will do all they can to help. They will listen to suggestions to improve accessibility and actually act on them, unlike a number of other content writing sites I have worked with in the past.” About being asked to beta test the new site design to ensure it is completely accessible to the blind, Reina says, “It is truly an honor that a company is willing to allow me to play a major part in helping the site to remain usable for myself and millions of blind people to come.” Reina is among those currently leading a financially fulfilling life and is looking forward to a bright future. She will soon be marrying and purchasing her first home. Reina also looks forward to making even greater financial gains. “I thank The Content Authority wholeheartedly to making a phenomenal contribution in my life and making my dreams possible.”

A Brief History Of The Content Authority

It All Started In December 2009 President and CEO Shawn Manaher founded The Content Authority in December 2009. Shawn developed TCA after his personal experiences with writing services provided less than satisfactory articles. Often, he found that the content delivered was not what was needed and the articles were frequently received outside of the desired time frame. These experiences led to the establishment of TCA, creating a company that provides quality content at reasonable prices and customer service designed to deliver a positive experience for clients, writers, and staff.   Significant Growth Over Last 20 Months Under his customer service and support model, the company has undergone dramatic growth over the past two years. A company that started with just a handful of writers and a few customers has become one of the premier content writing services on the Internet.  The company currently averages 500-700 articles written per day and has experienced a 180% month-to-month growth since 2010. In addition, the company has seen a 99% increase in top tier orders since August 2010.   It Doesn’t Stop At Content Creation The Content Authority has expanded the types of services it offers. In addition to providing quality article writing, the company is involved in posting services, link building and special projects. All of this is accomplished through excellent service, exceptional customer support and competitive pricing.   Forging Ahead And Not Looking Back TCA is not yet finished growing. The expansion is evident in the company’s newly designed website. The site has streamlined features to assist clients and writers. The Content Authority prides itself on understanding what customers want and need, and having the technical and creative skills to supply these services. In the words of Shawn, “You will continue to see The Content Authority making a difference in the way we operate and treat our customers, thereby setting a new standard of online excellence!”
